The idea behind the Actionmasters was that these were highly-poseable Transformers that didn't transform. In Europe, they released a small number of Actionmaster Elites, which were highly-poseable Transformers that sorta transformed. None of the transformations was convincing, and most involved clipping vehicle bits onto the toy.
Pom-Pom started out as a parody piece. I saw the Jacqueline figure on clearance at Meijer for two bucks and decided I had to do something with this insanely busty figure. So I bought it and took it home, then started tinkering around. (A "pom-pom," by the way, is an antiaircraft gun. Cheerleaders use pompons.)
The first step was the legs. I had bits and pieces of a cheap knockoff Gundam (the face of which I used for Optimus Primeape) left over, and with a little work I made them into boots for the figure. The hip flaps I removed and glued to the thighs of the WWF figure. Next came the weapons. After toying with the idea of making the breasts into cannons for a while, I decided it would be impossible to scan the figure (that, it the out-thrust chest already makes the figure want to tip over forward anyway). So I went to my Legos. I built a pair of guns out of Lego bits, then glued 2x1 Lego bits to the arms and to the head to act as snap-on bases. Another Lego piece formed the backpack/power unit. Some more Legos for the shoulder launchers and the "headlights," and I was ready to start puttying.
Having pulled off the fetishy-long hair, I decided that almost none of the original head should remain visible. I built up a helmet out of putty, squared off the torso with putty (yes, the breasts really do thrust that far out on the original toy!) and built up the forearms a bit. I pressed another Lego bit into the belt area for a buckle, and added a belt with putty. However, the right side of the belt snapped off, so I decided to go with an asymmetrical look and made the right side "belt" an indentation. A piece of twisted wire formed the cable from the backpack to the helmet, which I glued into place once the putty was hardened.
After casting around a bit, I decided on blue and grey for the main colors, with gunmetal metallic accents. The "constructicon green" bit just sort of happened, because I tried the color and decided I liked the way it looked. I painted a nice big Decepticon logo on her chest, but it's not visible in the scans, mainly because you could serve drinks off her chest...it's horizontal, man. Finally, I took a technical pen and detailed the figure, at which point I discovered that the knockoff toy wasn't symmetric in design...lots of little differences between the boots.
The transformation is typically simple for an Actionmaster Elite. Move the guns from the arms to the helmet (and the helmet's side panels to the arms, the Lego pegs remain covered at all times) and bend her over backwards into firing position. For nighttime firing, the arms rotate up so that the shoulder mounted searchlights point in the direction of the guns (pictured is the daytime mode).

DECEPTICON: Pom-Pom
Vehicle Modes: Antiaircraft artillery (AAA)
Function: Base Defense
Motto: "Don't give me flak, or I'll give YOU flak!"

This minor soldier in the Decepticon army was once only known for her claims of being Megatron's sister, claims pretty much everyone ignored. But when the Decepticons started to experiment with Nucleon, she found herself with the firepower to make those claims credible...not that anyone believes her anyway. Wields two powerful flak cannons in either mode, which fire energy spheres timed to detonate at predetermined ranges. Few Autobot fliers can stand up to a direct hit from her cannons. Darkness is no shield from her cannons, as she has a powerful rack of searchlights capable of illuminating targets up to 20 km away. At close range they can short out an opponent's optic circuits. In artillery mode she reconfigures to feed greater power to her cannons, at the cost of losing mobility. In robot mode, she has a weakness in her gyrostabilizers that makes her prone to tipping forward.
